Meet Charlie Hunter
Charlie Hunter, an Elmira native, spent most of his 25 years away in San Francisco before returning home. A skilled photographer, with a love for travel and good food, Charlie has a taste for quality and an eye for what it takes to bring people together, no matter the occasion. His more elevated restaurant and bar, Rye Restaurant, has quickly become a local staple for those looking for an evening of jazz, good cocktails (or mocktails) and delicious food, or a fun night of Drag Bingo. The Garage is an extension of Charlie’s passion and commitment to his Elmira community and all its potential.
